Located in the heart of Silicon Valley and founded by digital X-Ray imaging veteran, Andy Fu, Vet Rocket develops high quality digital radiography products for demanding veterinary applications.
Prior to founding Vet Rocket, Andy Fu co-founded Eklin Medical Systems in 2001 and was responsible for the design and development of the veterinary industry’s first and most popular line of portable digital X-Ray systems – the EDR3, Mark II and Mark III. These DR systems, designed by Andy, are installed in almost every veterinary teaching hospital across North America and around the world. In 2003, Andy went on to develop the industry’s first cloud-based DICOM storage for the veterinary market.
With his forward thinking and wealth of experience, Andy Fu founded Vet Rocket in 2010. Vet Rocket now dedicates its engineering efforts to designing new generations of innovative digital imaging products, which include advanced hardware, software and cloud-based solutions.
The X1 is the first entry from a new generation of Vet Rocket digital X-Ray systems. With its introduction in 2012, the X1 became the veterinary industry’s first completely battery-powered wireless DR system.
Vet Rocket is proud to be at the forefront of digital imaging technology and leads the way in providing the highest quality imaging products for the veterinary industry.
